Last updated: January 15, 2025

Our Commitment

HealthFinder is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to ensure we provide equal access to all users.

Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Features

  • Skip navigation — jump directly to main content
  • Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are fully keyboard accessible
  • Screen reader support — semantic HTML, ARIA labels, and live regions
  • Elder-friendly mode — larger text and touch targets for easier reading
  • Focus indicators — visible focus outlines on all interactive elements
  • Reduced motion — respects prefers-reduced-motion system setting
  • High contrast — supports forced-colors mode
  • Color contrast — all text meets WCAG AA contrast ratios

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, some third-party content or newly added features may not yet meet all standards. We are actively working to address any gaps.
